    Asking students to consider why they chose to study Media and Communications at MA level and the way in which Media and Communications both reflect on, and shape and change the world around us. The chapter then presents a whistle stop introduction to goal setting, time management and how to stave off procrastination in studies presenting a range of planners that build up a framework for organising student studies. It touches on the diverse nature of assessment of work specific tips connected to learning environments and the ideal range of items to include in a student’s tool bag and which are the apps ‘every student needs’.
